Sezan Eyrich studied political science with a focus on Transrational Peace Approaches and Feminism in Innsbruck, Austria. She is specifically interested in Tools for Conflict Transformation which include empathy, self-reflection and dialogue. She believes that the most profound study and personal growth come through living alongside different people and their cultures of peace. As a result, she has lived in Austria, Poland, Germany, New Zealand, Turkey and Palestine during the last six years and has travelled in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Sezan first got involved with IofC by participating in the Young Ambassadors Programme 2018, and returned as a facilitator in 2019. IofC’s approach inspired her to write her Bachelor Thesis on Tools of Conflict Transformation and to research Empathy as a Political Tool within the Feminist Discourse. In 2020 she is taking on the role of the YAP Coordinator.
