Caux IDG immersive experience for business leaders
A 48-hour leadership immersion
Immerse yourself in a transformative 48-hour experience, from Wednesday 28 October (4pm) to Friday 30 October 2026 (4pm), at the magnificent Caux Palace.
Don't miss this exceptional gathering: ‘Leading with humanity in the age of artificial intelligence’.
As artificial intelligence redefines our societies at an unprecedented rate, an urgent need is emerging: for leaders capable of wisdom, empathy and courageous imagination. This immersion has been designed as a true catalyst for inner transformation, organisational clarity and collective renewal.
Immersed in a magnificent natural setting, participants will explore how to accompany technological transitions in a fully conscious, democratic and life-centred way and aligned with the Inner Development Guide (IDG) – the international framework of inner competencies for sustainable transformation.
Organised by Chemin 28 and the Caux Initiatives and Change Foundation, this event will bring together leaders, innovators, decision-makers and experts to imagine a future where AI amplifies human potential rather than replacing it. Three days of inspiration, conferences, experiential practices and authentic exchanges to reinvent leadership in the age of emerging technologies.
This is a unique opportunity to get ahead of the curve — and actively contribute to the profound transformation that lies ahead.
About the event
Humanity is at a decisive turning point.
AI is accelerating organisational transformations, disrupting economic models, reshaping our democracies and accentuating social fragmentation. The pace of innovation often exceeds our collective ability to respond with discernment.
In this context, the most essential leadership skills are now profoundly human: courage, empathy, ethical clarity, creativity, systemic awareness, discernment.
These qualities enable leaders to guide technological transitions in a way that strengthens trust, human dignity and social cohesion.
This meeting draws on:
- The conscious leadership programmes of Chemin 28,
- The work of the Caux Foundation on trust, ethical leadership and democratic cohesion,
- The framework of the Inner Development Guide (IDG), which defines the inner competencies necessary for sustainable, ethical and grounded transformations.
The objective: to explore how leaders can contribute to deeply human, inclusive and democratic futures, where AI is a tool at the service of life.
Objectives of the meeting
Bring together a select group of leaders, executives and change agents to explore:
- How to lead with awareness and courage in a world transformed by AI.
- How to cultivate the inner competencies (IDG) that support ethical and democratic decisions.
- How to articulate the complementarities between AI and human emotional intelligence – body, heart and soul.
- How to lead systemic transitions with clarity, creativity and responsibility.
- How to ensure that AI-related transformations remain aligned with human dignity, democratic values and respect for life.
This meeting will be a space for experiential learning, collective intelligence and embodied leadership practices.
Format and methodology
The experience is inspired by two complementary approaches:
- Chemin 28: an experiential journey combining mindfulness, immersion in nature, artistic expression and collective intelligence.
- Caux Foundation: a mission spanning nearly 80 years of hospitality, dialogue and leadership transformation.
A 5-step methodology
The programme will alternate between:
- Plenary sessions
- Collective intelligence circles
- Small group spaces
- Sensory and nature experiences
- Personal integration time
- Moments of silence inspired by the Caux Palace tradition
All accompanied by experts in inner development and professional facilitators, who will be on hand to guide each step with kindness.
