My name is Amsaa Sleem and I am Egyptian. I believe that ‘the main hope of any nation lies in the proper education of its youth’ – and that hope for the world lies in spreading peace, love, justice and moral integrity through education, raising awareness and the power of togetherness. I am a lifelong learner.  I have had a beautiful journey with IofC, first as a Caux Scholar AP 2015/2016, then as a participant in CPLP 2017 and a faculty member in 2018, and now as one of the organizing team of this conference. This journey has supported my inner growth as well my professional and life skills. I am currently studying ‘peace studies in the Muslim world’ and teaching methodologies. I have a post-graduate degree in social sciences and liberal arts. I have worked and volunteered in both local and international projects related to education, development, corporate social responsibility, peace building, and awareness and inner development. Finally, I am a Vice-President of the Association for World Education Int (AWE) and one of the founding members of Insights Lab in Egypt.
