Olivier Anselmo

Olivier Anselmo joined the Caux Foundation in September 2026 as its incoming Executive Director, before officially taking up his post on 15 October 2026.

Until recently, Olivier was Deputy Executive Director of the Switzerland for UNHCR Foundation, the UN Refugee Agency’s national partner in Switzerland. He joined the organisation at its establishment in 2020 as Director of Operations and Finance and became Deputy Executive Director in January 2024.

Olivier brings extensive experience in the humanitarian sector, including nine years with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), where he worked both in the field – in Afghanistan, Haiti, Niger, Senegal and Sudan – and at headquarters. He also worked with DNDi, the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative, where he was responsible for human resources and administration.

A father of three, Olivier holds a degree in economics from the University of Geneva, as well as two Master’s degrees, in human resources management and communication and media.
