Urszula Majewska’s passion and work focus is social communication and participation, including tools for public consultation, participatory budgeting and supporting local activities. By education she is a specialist in international relations, a journalist and a mediator. She also graduated from the School of Public Consultation and Resolving Social Conflicts. After 10 years working in local government in Warsaw and three years as Deputy Director of the Social Communication Centre of Warsaw City Hall, she coordinated a project to implement participatory budgeting in Georgia and worked as an expert and trainer in citizen participation. She currently works at the Social Innovation Laboratory in Gdynia and is collaborating with Solidarity Fund PL in Georgia in the field of participatory budgeting.
