Timo Pfender holds a Bachelor degree in European Studies with a social science orientation and the geographical focus on Central- and Eastern Europe. Besides his interests in the civil society development in Central- and Eastern Europe and Russia, Timo Pfender is passionate about communication, personal development and understanding societal conditions of social exclusion and discrimination and their consequences on personality. Currently he is studying social work. Since 2014 he is a board member and project coordinator for the NGO-network Initiative Mittel- und Osteuropa e.V. (InMOE e.V.) in Germany, where he is currently in the position of the 2nd Chairperson. In 2018, InMOE was a partner organization of the Young Ambassadors Programme. In 2017 Timo first came to Caux as a participant in the Week of International Community. Being inspired by IofC and its approach to personal change, he came back in 2018 for the Young Ambassadors Programme.
