Discover the brand-new Café des Galeries – a warm and welcoming community café located in the former post office of the Caux Palace, run in collaboration with EVAM (Etablissement vaudois d'accueil des migrants) and the ÉVEIL association.

Exhibitions & Concerts
Culture, Creativity and Connection at the Caux Palace
This summer, the Caux Palace will host a dynamic arts and culture programme that brings the Caux Initiatives of Change Foundation's mission to life through powerful creative expression, with three thought-provoking exhibitions (open 10 July - 14 September – Thursday to Sunday - free admission) and two inspiring concerts during the Caux Forum (organised in collaboration with the Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation).
8 July (14:30): Caux Forum Opening Ceremony
Revitalizing Democracy - One Humanity
Join us for an unforgettable afternoon at the Caux Democracy Forum Opening Ceremony. Enjoy keynote talks, interactive sessions, exhibitions, the inauguration of the Peace Parks Initiative, and a special jazz concert by Licia Chery, hosted with the Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation.
Focussing on key elements like integrity, trust, courage and hope, this in-person and livestreamed event for more than 300 global changemakers brings together visionaries, youth leaders, and cultural voices to explore the values that sustain democracy in a world facing crisis.
July 2025: Caux Forum
Unlocking human potential - Tackling global challenges
Held in the breathtaking setting of the Caux Palace, this annual gathering unites individuals, organisations, and communities from around the globe to tackle pressing global challenges. Participating in the Caux Forum is about unlocking your potential! It offers a safe space of trust, care, solidarity and respect and encourages each of us to reflect on our roles, explore our resources, and connect with our responsibilities as changemakers.
In addition to a rich artistic and cultural programme, the 2025 edition offers 4 main events, including the Opening Ceremony of the Caux Democracy Forum, Reimagining Democracy(ies), a youth programme for young leaders, the Caux Democracy Forum and the Caux Inner Development Goals Forum.
1 August (15:00 - 23:00): Swiss National Day
Music, Culture, and Celebration: Enjoy a festive moment in Caux
Join us for a festive celebration on 1 August 2025 to mark Swiss National Day at the magnificent Caux Palace.
In partnership with the Société de développement de Caux, enjoy guided tours of the historic building, inspiring press cartoon and photo exhibitions, music, local food and drinks, and breathtaking views over the Leman
2 August: Guided Tour of the Caux Palace
Caux Palace Unveiled: A Belle Époque Treasure with a Global Mission
Dive into the fascinating history of the Caux Palace, constructed between 1900 and 1902 as a magnificent Belle Epoque Grand Hotel offering one of the most spectacular views in Switzerland.
During the tour, you will discover prestigious spaces, like the baroque theatre and the imposing Main Hall, and explore behind-the-scenes areas, such as the laundry rooms and the construction workshops.
You will also find out more about the international network of Initiatives of Change and its activities in Switzerland and abroad.
13 & 14 September: European Heritage Days
Step Into History: Discover the Caux Palace, a Belle Époque Masterpiece
Celebrate the European Heritage Days with us at the Caux Palace on 13 and 14 September 2025!
