Gordon Robinson is a self-employed International Marketing Advisor with a distinguished 36-year career at The Timken Company, where he held senior leadership roles, including Managing Director and later Chairman of a publicly traded company in India. A Mechanical Engineer by training, Gordon’s early career included roles in Sales, Marketing, Advertising, and PR, followed by two decades in general management with global responsibilities. He has lived and worked in Sweden, France, Italy, India, China, and the USA, and gained firsthand experience across Africa and the Arabian Gulf.

Guided by strong ethical values, Gordon has long been committed to socially responsible leadership. He served in trustee roles for the Timken Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and Junior Achievement, and continues to support charitable work in India. He is a mentor at Biz Britain, a former Trustee of Initiatives of Change UK, and currently serves on the boards of Age UK South Kent and the Rotary Club of Folkestone.

In April 2025, he joined the Council of the Caux Initiatives of Change Foundation, contributing his belief in inclusive capitalism and global collaboration. Gordon has been married to his wife Kathy for 44 years and is a proud father and grandfather.
