Caux Forum 2023
The Caux Forum is returning with two in-person events in July 2023 and aims to bring to the world an urgent message of hope and challenge.
Some online elements will be incorporated to include those who can’t participate in person.
This is a forum rather than a conference. It will focus on lived experience, and this will be shared through a mixture of plenaries and workshops. In the evenings there will be cultural presentations and films from across the world.
Opening Ceremony
18 July 2023, 10:00 – 12:00
A panel discussion on key challenges facing community trust-building and where we can find hope.
Healing the wounds of the past
17 - 22 July 2023
This event will provide a space for all who are searching for healing, reconciliation and ways to rebuild trust.
Broken relationships result from unhealed wounds, often transferred through generations. But healing can come. New energy, vision and calling can emerge from each step taken to repair a relationship. Trust can grow again, and with it the cooperation needed to answer the huge challenges we face globally. Including creating a new relationship with our natural environment.
Trust and Integrity in Democracy
24 – 26 July, 2023
How can we see a resurgence of trust in our political systems? And what can ordinary citizens do to reverse this trend and strengthen democracy in their respective countries?
This event is for those who want to discover how to help their countries respond effectively to internal and global challenges.
Please hold space in your schedules to join us at the Caux Forum in 2023 and stay tuned for more information!

What is the Caux Forum?
The annual Caux Forum, a programme of conferences, training and dialogues, aims to inspire, equip and connect individuals, groups and organizations so that they can build a just, peaceful and sustainable world.
Each year around 1,500 people attend the Forum to address the burning issues of our time and to find innovative, creative and sustainable answers together. Participants and speakers are drawn from civil society, government and business. A safe space of trust, care, solidarity and respect provides them with the opportunity to discuss openly and in-depth a variety of issues.
Participating in the Caux Forum is about unlocking your potential: it encourages individuals, groups and organizations to reflect on their roles, explore their resources, and connect with their responsibilities as changemakers, on the basis that everyone can make a difference.
The Caux Forum takes place in the Caux Palace, a former Belle-Époque Grand Hotel nestled in the mountains 1000m above sea level, with a breathtaking view over Lake Geneva and the Alps which provides a unique and inspiring setting. After a full day at the Caux Forum, participants can enjoy the spectacular scenery from their balcony. The Caux Forum offers them time to gain some perspective, retreat from the bustling routine and find a space that allows for silent reflection, creative sharing and an exchange of ideas.
