22-27 July 2024

The Nordic Initiatives of Change team, in partnership with Caux Initiatives of Change, is excited to announce an intergenerational gathering set to take place at the Caux Palace, Switzerland, from 22-27 July 2024, bringing together individuals from across Europe who wish to work more closely together for a change of moral and spiritual direction across our continent.

Against the backdrop of ongoing challenges in wider Europe, including conflicts within and at our Mediterranean border, this gathering in Caux presents a timely opportunity. It serves as a space for collective introspection, enabling us to delve into the essence of IofC's values, how they can shape the work and mission of the European teams and help rediscover IofC's role in the current landscape.

What the event offers

In this historic place where Europe reconnected over 75 years ago, we will search together for what we can do for Europe and a world in great need. We will be using tools, such as:

  • inner listening and reflection,
  • sharing and storytelling
  • community groups
  • plenary sessions
  • workshops
  • shared cultural events and entertainment in the evenings

..with enough time in between for good conversations over meals, walks and sports – and time alone.

Who this event is for

We expect the gathering to bring together up to 250 people. We want this to be a truly intergenerational gathering – making sure enough of the younger generation can join, many of them now having young families.

Rates

Whilst final prices have not been confirmed yet, we currently estimate the rates as follows:

  • Adults and children aged 15+: CHF 800.-
  • Children aged 6-14: CHF 400.-
  • Children below 6: free

Please note that these rates might be subject to change due to possible funding through IofC bodies.
