Tools for Changemakers is a programme of Initiative of Change Switzerland which designs and delivers workshops, courses, trainings and community-building events for youth, leaders and practitioners in the fields of peacebuilding, trustbuilding, community development and education.

Our aims are to inspire, equip and connect actors of change, to train and coach individuals and team and to offer support in developing skills which help them become more compassionate, confident, and effective.

Young Ambassadors Programme 2021
The Young Ambassadors Programme (YAP) is a learning experience in social transformation that links individual change and community change. The programme brings together young people who aspire to take an active role in transforming society, with a focus on Europe. The training explores the dynamic relationship between personal and global change, sharing stories and exchanging experiences, creating space for reflection and taking focused action.

Group Coaching for Leaders - Leadership development through Action Learning
This leadership development programme is for a group of six to eight people who carry some responsibility for managing teams, will focus on the human relations impact of leading and has been designed using Action Learning principles. Action Learning involves a small group working on real problems, taking action, and learning as individuals and as a group.

Jo Berry: Talking with the Enemy
Jo Berry is an inspiring speaker who works to resolve conflict around the world. Sixteen years after her father was killed by an IRA bomb, Jo first met with the man responsible, Pat Magee. Jo will share her own story, highlighting the lessons she has learnt during the last 40 years. In the second part of the session, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, share their thoughts and practice the steps Jo will guide us through.

Tools for Changemakers - Rebuilding Trust in Europe
Building on the five-year vision of Addressing Europe’s Unfinished Business, Tools For Changemakers - Rebuilding Trust in Europe strengthens its training component while embarking on a three- year journey of exploration of the link between personal and collective identities in Europe, the rise of populism and nationalism in different European regions, the need to belong for old and new community members, unaddressed collective traumas, and the urgency to work with these issues in order to build more trust and cohesion in Europe.
