Water of Life

A 75th Anniversary Arts Event

01 August 2021

8:00 am GMT

When going into the dining-room of the Caux Conference and Seminar Centre, as well as the wonderful views you see the beautiful colourful fresco covering the whole of one wall.

It is easy to become accustomed to it and forget it is there. But it is a great privilege to have such a magnificent work of art generously given by the outstanding Finnish artist Lennart Segestråle (read about him in the 75 Years of Stories series).

We would like to invite you to take time together, look at the fresco more closely and reflect on the various parts of the painting, full of symbols and inspiration. We will listen to instrumental music and at the end bring the different parts of the fresco together.

Join in on 1 August and celebrate with us the beautiful masterpiece which has accompanied so many important meals and discussions over the years in the dining-room of the Caux Conference and Seminar Centre.
